ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
•Conduct safety induction for new construction workers and site staff.
•Ensure workplace, construction workers and site staff comply with OSHA Act 1994 and other related requirements at all time.
•Inspect, investigate and rectify any unsafe acts, accidents and conflicts at the workplace.
•Practice and promote a safe workplace to all site team and contractors.
•Prepare and review all documentations related to safety & health and adheres to deadlines.
•Liaise with the contractor’s safety supervisor appointed under Regulation 26 (BOWEC) with respect to safety work undertaken by sub-contractors.
•Carry task given by employer or person in charge at site pertaining to safety and health.
•Conduct regular safety meeting with superior and subcontractor.
REQUIREMENT & SKILLS
•Have a minimum of 2 years experience in HSE field.
•A yellow book holder and a competent Site Safety Supervisor registered with DOSH.
•Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent from any professional body or institution approved by DOSH with at least 6 months in the field of construction or attended Module 6 (Construction Safety) from SSS Course.
•Good in inter-personal, communication & leadership skills.
•Self-motivated, responsible and a risk taker with strong site, machinery and materials inspection skills.
