Tuan Haji Mohd Shahrin Bin Dato’ Haji Rahmat
Tuan Haji Mohd Shahrin bin Dato’ Haji Rahmat is currently serving as the Chief of Strategic Plannning Sector at Kumpulan Prasarana Rakyat Johor Sdn. Bhd. (“KPRJ”). Born on June 28, 1982, he is now 41 years old. Tuan Haji Mohd Shahrin was appointed to the Johor Civil Service on February 2, 2007 and his appointment was confirmed on September 2, 2009. He was promoted to Grade N48 on June 1, 2018.
Throughout his career, Tuan Haji Mohd Shahrin has held various positions, including Assistant Director at the Johor State Economic Planning Unit, Director at the Johor Heritage Foundation (Yayasan Warisan Johor), Deputy Director at Tourism Johor and Deputy President of Strategic Relations at Permodalan Darul Ta’zim (“PDT”). He has also served as the Chief Executive Officer of PDT Oil & Gas Services Sdn. Bhd. His current role as Chief of Strategic Planning at KPRJ began on January 1, 2024.
Tuan Haji Mohd Shahrin is an accomplished individual with a strong educational background. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Finance) from Universiti Tenaga Nasional Malaysia. He has also completed the High Performers Leadership Programme at the Australian Institute of Management and holds a Professional Certificate in JCS Talent Civil Servants from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
Outside of his official duties, Tuan Haji Mohd Shahrin is an active member of the Johor Civil Service Officers Association. He has been recognised for his outstanding service, receiving the Sultan Ibrahim Coronation Medal from the Sultan of Johor in 2015 and the Excellent Service Award (APC) in 2016.
